Just Betty

When I am happy with what I am eating, my tail(bone) wiggles!
I am not a food critique, I believe that taste in food is highly subjective, and I just want to share mine. Ü

Wafu, Greenhills Shopping Center

Above photo taken from Wafu's Facebook page.

Some of the Sundae group tried Wafu on October 23, 2013

Because I wanted all of us to try this.

50% off teppanyaki buffet!

This is the 12-course menu:

Unfortunately,

You have to reserve for it..

Due to the limited chefs and seats for teppanyaki.

Teppanyaki buffet is not served down here..

In this very spacious place..

Not even here at the back of the their 1st floor..

It's served up these stairs..

Here, where there are those cooking thing in the middle of the table.

They also have private rooms..

You can see the 1st floor from the glass window..
But using this costs extra.

Since we did not make a reservation,

..we shared a-la carte instead.
Philadelphia Roll P385

salmon sashimi, avocado, philadelphia cream cheese

This wasn't bad,
but I've had better sushi that's more affordable.

For Him P850
ღ medium-grilled skirt steak

Served with these:

salad

miso soup, chawan mushi

chawan mushi

steamed rice

some cucumbers..

sashimi

fruits in season

The place was obviously expensive.
At least the steak was good. Not chewy.

It won't hurt to try things once. ;)
YOLO! ha ha!

Bizu Patisserie & Bistro, Greenhills Promenade

Above photo taken from Bizu's Facebook page

I have not been fond of Eggs Benedict and wonder why people like it so much.

Now I know it's because I have not tried the best.
Until now.
ღ Eggs Florentine
Eggs Benedict P375 + P55 to make it Florentine (witted spinach)
Forest ham, two free-range poached eggs
and Hollandaise sauce on a freshly baked English corn muffin.

You can appreciate the generous quality ingredients used.
It wasn't dry and lacking in taste like one I've tried in a different establishment.

And since I was already here,

I tried out their Macaron de Paris.
 Espresso con Panna P55

Caramel with Fleur del Sel P55

Dark Chocolate P55

I liked Dark Chocolate the best, obviously,
but Macaron itself does not make my tail wiggle.

Maybe I haven't tried the best that makes it. Ü

Cafe Publico, Promenade

Above photo taken from Cafe Publico website
Puti, M and I went to Cafe Publico last November 28, 2012.

It was nearing the holidays so the place was festive.

We dined on the 2nd floor for a more private feel.
And so that we can ring this bell.

 First up:
Squash & carrot P155

M is a lasagna lover.
3-cheese Beef Lasagna P295

And Puti is M's lover
Spicy Tuna Spaghetti in Olive Oil P280

And me, I love shrimps and bacon.
ღ Promenade Shrimp Tarragon Ravioli in Bacon Cream P260

This was good but the taste is too flavorful to finish alone.
Best if shared.
