We went to Blushing Cupcakes Cafe after our Hai Chix & Steaks dinner.

Arlene bought a candle for all the cupcakes we ordered,

as a symbol of all our birthdays that we missed over the years..

Relax, those are not beers.

This is my favorite out of the 4 cupcakes we tried.

The frosting is really sweet for some people but I like the sweetness of it

together with the not-so-sweet cake. Ü

I first tried Locale Gastrobar with Darling on January 30, 2013.

We ordered this.

Pasta Diablo P280

Rigattoni in Chili oil topped with bacon and baby tempura

Because she just came from the dentist and could only eat soft food.

This wasn't spicy enough to give a good "kick".

We also tried this.

Truffle Fries P180

Double Fried French Fries tossed in Truffle Paste 

I conclude that I'm not fond of truffle.

In whatever form they come.

I came back with Bcrew on October 16, 2013 because they wanted to drink

and I just attacked the munchies.

Beefy Nachos P260

White corn chips with sautéed ground beef, cheese, jalapeños

and sour cream.

The "dyahe" piece.

I found this to be too bland in taste.

Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food, 

their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle.

My friend and I tried Frankie's last October 2012.

Their menu was simple, not hard to choose.

Easy to understand.

Since I do not like the normal buffalo wings flavor, I got this.

 

1/2 Dozen Garlic Parmesan P143

It's not that bad, I just prefer Red Buffalo better when it comes to Garlic Parmesan wings,

but Frankie's flavoring is closer to Sunrise Bucket's though.

 

 Nice receipt holder.
