Family went to Cab Cafe way back October 26, 2011.

Because I was so intrigued by this.

Looks so good, right?


Looks can be deceiving.

Strawberry Shortcake P85 

I think the slice was too think that it did not get any of the strawberries inside the cake,
all I tasted were strawberry jam and cream.



I went back after 2 years, after Darling and I had dinner at Nav.
This time, I tried their best seller.

Mini (mango) Pavlova P125
The mango was too sour for me and it had lots of cashew nuts.
I think I only had 2 bites of this.

Irish Coffee P125 (regular)

Nothing to rave about.

Lia's Cakes in Season, Kapitolyo

Darling and I went to Lia's after our Silantro dinner.

Kuya tried to escape my shot but was too slow.

They have all sorts of cakes.

But they are known for their avocado cake. 

So we tried one of that.

Avocado cake P85

Not bad, it wasn't too sweet nor bland.

And a slice of this.

 Strawberry & Cream P70

It's not like strawberry shortcake that has strawberries inside,

but the strawberry cream filling really tastes like strawberries.

I've been waiting for Tully's Robinsons Magnolia branch to open..

 ..for about 5 months..

And on April 4, 2013..

..I finally saw it open.

Mad Mark's Creamery & Good Eats, Kapitoyo

Darling and I tried Mad Mark's on September 18, 2013.

It is right beside Thai Dara. 

On the right is the counter.

We shared this. 

ღ Signature Steak (Regular 200g) P240

Served with your choice of 2 sides: Bacon Potato Salad and fries

The steak was goo-ood and tender, the kind that I can chew.  

Grilling sauce: Bootstrap Steak Sauce

Cooking: Medium rare.

While we were dining, a lot of people went in and just had ice cream.

So we had to taste that too.

Not bad ice cream. Better than most. Ü

I tried Umami on July 20, 2013.

It's right beside Sunrise Buckets.

Because of the name. Ü 

Bonito flakes, sea weed, bbq sauce, Japanese mayo

A closer look.

All burger steaks come with salad, fries,..

Salted Edamame 

and steamed Japanese rice.

The place also came with a toilet.

I only washed my hands. Promise. 

I left my bomb at home.

The bill came in this.

And the change came in this. 

Overall, it was ok. I like their rice. Ü

I'm starting to think I'm not a burger person.

Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food, 

their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle.
