Arlene and Pete took me to their favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

 As we entered..

 The person behind the counter was cool with me taking photos,

I don't think I like it as much as they do.

 I like my food really tasty.

We also had their soup.

Beef Balls Soup

Pho Tai, Nam, Gau, Gan, Sach $7.50

Pho with sliced of eye-round steak, Well done flank, 

fat brisket, Tendon and Tripe

Nothing special for me for the soup,

it just tasted like Pho Hoa back home.

Jim's Steaks - Philadelphia, PA (USA)

When in Philadelphia, they said that you need to try the philly cheesesteak

from Pat's..

..and/or Geno's..

But if you're from Philadelphia, you get philly cheesesteaks from Jim's.

And I want to do what the locals do so I went to Jim's.

Unwrapping the philly goodness..

Your choice of cheese from: Whiz, American and Provolone.

I was told to try Whiz.

And it was good.

Juicy steak, crunchy soft bread, cheesy whiz.

 And I don't even like sandwiches.

So this is really good. Ü

We went to Shake Shack for dinner of Valentine's day.

 Though a valentine's dinner date was not our intention.

It just happened to be valentine's day when we came here.

As we entered.

Arlene brought me to try London Grill on February 12, 2014.

We obviously don't like going at peak hours. Ü

So we were able to sit beside the window.

 This is a must order.

Truffle cauliflower puree, foie gras panna cotta, blood orange jus

So tender, so tasty, so juicy.

Mmm-mm-m-m-m!

Arlene thought the duck was too good that it's bad 

so she ordered this for balance.

Tommy Dinic's and Famous 4th Street Cookie Co. - Reading Terminal, PA (USA)

When in Philadelphia,

I was told that I need to visit Tommy Dinic's.

Arlene brought me here on February 12, 2014.

We came early so there was not much people yet.

And ordered their best seller. (split in 2)

 Roast Pork $8.50

+2 toppings $1.75

Sharp provolone and greens

I was not impressed.

I felt like it was dry and I probably chose the wrong toppings.

I definitely needed a dessert badly after that.

We walked around Reading Terminal and saw this.

Famous 4th St. Cookie Co

 Double Chocolate Chip $1.80

Didn't care if it cost more than I would normally pay for a cookie,

I wanted it.

 And it was goo-ood.

A generous amount of chocolate chips!
