Just Betty

When I am happy with what I am eating, my tail(bone) wiggles!
I am not a food critique, I believe that taste in food is highly subjective, and I just want to share mine. Ü

Antonio's Breakfast, Tagaytay

We went to Tagaytay on November 27, 2013.

Mumsy wanted to try Antonio's (main branch)

But we arrived late and they close at 2pm.

So we went to Breakfast at Antonio's instead.

That serves all-day breakfast.

On the right, they sell their homemade jams and stuff..

I think their honey walnut loaf is famous.

The place is different from when I went here in 2006..

It's bigger now.

But my favorite al fresco area is now gone. =(

Stairs to somewhere only the servers are allowed to go..

 Ahya ordered this.
ღ Reuben Sandwich P365
Slices of corned beef, swiss cheese, Saukeraut,
Onion & Russian dressing

They were really generous with the ingredients in this sandwich!

It was also served with this.
Borough's chips is still better.

Diya ordered this.
Antonio's House Burger P385

It was nothing special.

I ordered this.
Smoked Salmon Benedict P485

English muffins, Topped with slices of smoked salmon
& poached eggs with Capers Hollandaise Sauce

served with Griddled cinnamon Pineapple & Banana slice.

And mumsy ordered this.
Portabello Tagliatelle w/ Truffle cream P495

She loved it.

Now, there was an extra order of this.
Eggs Benedict Pancake P270

For my never-full brothers to share.

It also came with this syrup.

Path to the CR..

Their comfort room has also changed from 2006..

It's bigger now and more private..

I remember seeing grass outside while peeing..

Overall, food was good.
Nothing spectacular but it tastes clean. Clean is also good.

Pan De Amerikana, Katipunan Ω

Ghost Month is No Wiggle Ω month for whenpigswiggle.blogspot.com

The Bochogs tried this topsy turvy place last November 2012.

Upside down house, Range Rover, bike and flower pots.

Inside there were dining area, entertainment area,
and even a piano on the ceiling.

Bochog Jak's outfit was in tune with the theme of the place too!
 Hehe..

I wasn't able to get a photo of the others' orders.
(they did not share it anyway because they are Bochogs)

Here's what I had.
Pumpkin Soup P40

 Omelet Potato Ground Pork P65

Fresh Calamansi Juice P30
and Fresh Melon Shake P45

Cheap, eh?
Guess who chose this venue. ;)

No one else but Boy TV!
Name that star in this "wall of fame"

Normal food.
I think it would've been better if the food was also unique like the place.

Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food,
their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle. Ω

Milky & Sunny, Kapitolyo Ω

Ghost Month is No Wiggle Ω month for whenpigswiggle.blogspot.com

The Bochogs tried out Milky and Sunny last January 4, 2012.

Here's what I had:
BLT Soup P80
That's Bochog Jen trying to get her face in the picture.
But only a portion of her cheek can fit.

Mango Shake P130

Bacon and Spam pasta P180

The rest had these:
Omelette: Tomatoes mozzarella, pepperoni P130

Spam P120

Tapa P160

Their portions were not enough for us so we got cereals for dessert!
Eeny meeny miny moe.

Can't decide? Get them all.

Except the plain corn flakes of course.

Cereal by the bowl P90

Peace!
This is one of the display paintings for sale.
