Just Betty

When I am happy with what I am eating, my tail(bone) wiggles!
I am not a food critique, I believe that taste in food is highly subjective, and I just want to share mine. Ü

Swensen's, Eastwood Mall

For Christmas month, whenpigswiggle will light up the season
by sharing light food posts. ;)

I first tried Swensen's with Puti and M after our Kogi Bulgogi dinner.
Puti wanted cake, M and I wanted ice cream.
Two against one, we had ice cream.

 Chewy Chocky Fancy P135

Changed the flavors to:
ღ Reversible Chocolate and Sticky Chewy Chocolate
After Puti finished hers, she wanted to order another! Haha!
Cake daw gusto ha.

I came back with Tin after our Kuretake dinner.
Still ordered Chewy Chocky Fancy

Changed the flavors to: Rock@Heart and Wild@Heart
I liked the first two flavors I tried better.

So that's what I got again when I went back with Darling before our Brickfire dinner.
Darling doesn't like cherries so she gave hers to me,
I don't like their whip cream so I gave mine to her. Ü
Messy, aren't we?

Slappy Cakes, Eastwood

Jak and I tried Slappy Cakes on May 17, 2013
It was an interesting experience to make your own pancakes.

Things you need:
Stove.

Flippers.

Ingredients.
We chose Buttermilk batter P225
+ Bacon P80 and Spring Onion Sour Cream P70

The server provided us a demo.

Step 1: Squeeze bottle to your desire.

Step 2: Add other ingredients.

Step 3: Wait.

Step 4: Flip.

My first slappy cake:

The taste was nothing spectacular,
I just really enjoyed making shapes of the pancakes.Ü

That's Jak following through with the J.. hehe..

Sometimes I like my pancakes drowning in syrup.

After awhile we got tired of the taste so we ordered 1 more ingredient:

Nutella P75

The Nutella hardened a little bit when placed on the stove,
I liked that little crunch. Ü

People that I asked if they liked Slappy Cakes said that they didn't.
Me however, enjoyed it.
I like that I can make my pancakes according to my liking. ღ

Johnny Rockets, Eastwood Ω

Ghost Month is No Wiggle Ω month for whenpigswiggle.blogspot.com

Above photo taken from here.

Our foreigner trainer treated the team to Johnny Rockets  last August 2012.
Here are some of the things we had.
Strawberry Milkshake P215
Really rich and thick.

 Rocket Wings P365
These are not even wings.

Chili Dog P265

Bacon Cheddar Single P395
Dry.

Apple Pie P295 + P75 (a la mode)

I think they're overpriced. Good thing it was free!
Yay.

Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food,
their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle.

Kogi Bulgogi, Eastwood Mall

My friends and I tried Kogi Bulgogi last July 26, 2012

We were first served with free appetizers.

I love salmon, but only the sashimi kind,
since I have been disappointed with cooked salmon many times.

But my love for salmon overpowered me and still ordered this.
ღ Salmon Bibimpap P178
Smoked Salmon with raw egg

From the looks of it, the salmon quantity was too small,
I thought it was a bad move for me. But no.
I can still taste the salmon! Yum!

My friends ordered these and said that they were fine.
Chicken Kalbi Bap P220
grilled chicken

Bulgogi Dub Bap P245
beef bulgogi

I took their word for it.
