Mezza 9, Hyatt Hotel (Singapore)

Mezza 9 is one of the food places in our itinerary.

We came only for their strawberry shortcake.

Because I read in blogs that it's one of the best. 

Plus it's 50% off after 9:30pm!

We had it to go because we were still going catch the MRT home.

 

ღ Strawberry Shortcake $4.50 = $2.25

Very generous on the strawberry and it wasn't sour.

50% off applied to all their cakes so our friends ordered other things too.

Dark Chocolate something..

I only got to taste the Strawberry Shortcake

but for 50% off, I assume all the other cakes tasted oh-so-good as well.

Cab Cafe, Kapitolyo

For Christmas month, whenpigswiggle will light up the season 

by sharing light food posts. ;)

Family went to Cab Cafe way back October 26, 2011.

Because I was so intrigued by this.

Looks so good, right?

Strawberry Shortcake P85 

I think the slice was too think that it did not get any of the strawberries inside the cake,
all I tasted were strawberry jam and cream.



I went back after 2 years, after Darling and I had dinner at Nav.
This time, I tried their best seller.

Mini (mango) Pavlova P125
The mango was too sour for me and it had lots of cashew nuts.
I think I only had 2 bites of this.

Irish Coffee P125 (regular)

Nothing to rave about.

Buenisimo by Cafe Ysabel, Scout Tuazon Ω

I pass by Buenisimo often and decided stop and try it on September 13, 2013. 

As I entered..

I've been fond of Cafe Ysabel for more than a decade now..

Complimentary.

I can still remember when I first tasted this in their San Juan branch.

It doesn't seem to taste the same though. But still good.

This is the dish I ordered. 

Salmon Steak P468 

with Pearl Onion Merlot Glaze & Hazelnut Butter Cream 

Apparently, I forgot my note to self that I only like RAW salmon. 

Another thing that got me going back to Cafe Ysabel

was their Strawberry Shortcake.

But it has changed over the years 
so I asked first if there are strawberries inside this one,

because I was really craving for a good strawberry shortcake,

and the waitress said that it didn't.

So I didn't get one.

Kuppa Roastery & Cafe, Taguig

Puti & M, Jen & Drew, Me & Myself went to Kuppa for dessert 

after our Wrong Ramen dinner.

I like places with this or any kind of buzzer 
that will call the attention of the servers.

Coz I hate having to wave my arms around.

Since we just had dinner, Jen didn't want to seem gluttonous 

in front of our non-bochog friends Puti & M. Hehe..

So she just had this.

And the bochog mascot, Drew, had this.

It was so good I almost killed all of them for taking a taste.
