Gavino's Donuts, Greenhills Town Center

For Christmas month, whenpigswiggle will light up the season 

by sharing light food posts. ;)

Darling and I tried Gavino's for merienda before we had dinner at D' Amburger

Though they have a unique type of donut,

I was more interested in this.

ღ Old Fashioned Cinnamon Sugar P29

I like how they didn't skimp on the cinnamon and sugar flavor

and how soft that doughnut is.

 I brought Bochogs Jak, Theo and Pip here on August 11, 2013.

This time I tried their signature doughnuts, Pon de Rings.

I did not like the taste of these new kind of donuts,
probably because I'm old fashioned,
but I did not appreciate how chewy and hard to break off those are,
even though they are really made that way.


So I got another Old Fashioned Cinnamon Sugar.

And a drink to drain them all down.. 

Wintermelon Milk Tea P89 (M)

I always order my milk tea with 75% sugar because I don't want it too sweet,
but this one tasted like water with just a bit of sugar.

This is how I feel about my milk tea..

Juicy Lucy Pizza Burger P365

Because it seemed so appetizing. 

Breaded mozzarella, pizza sauce

Mozzarella cheese for buns? Yum, right?

Apparently, it wasn't as good as it sounded.

It got cold quickly so it hardened and lost the stretchy fun of it. 

Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food, 

their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle.

Salsa Verde, Greenhills Town Center [CLOSED]

I tried out Salsa Verde last February 17, 2013

The place is really small.

Two tables of 6, 1 table of 4 and 1 table of 2.

 But they have cute interiors.

 They also have this doorway that connects them to Kebab Depot beside it.

 I didn't want to eat a lot since I was still going to have coffee after

so I just got these.

It's almost like KFC's. Not bad.

We had family dinner at Red Buffalo last February 2012.

This was so good.

Brown's Gourmet Chicken, Greenhills Town Center

My brother and I went to Brown's on February 19, 2012. 

It was still fairly new at that time.

We tried their specialty:

Tasty and tender, just like what any meat should be.
