We stopped to try Shiraz along Orchard Road.

The lights in it's place and the queue they got going got us curious.. 

Premium Lamb $10.50 

I'm not so much into the taste of it, but it actually tastes clean 

for a food stand on the side of the road.

Mezza 9, Hyatt Hotel (Singapore)

Mezza 9 is one of the food places in our itinerary.

We came only for their strawberry shortcake.

Because I read in blogs that it's one of the best. 

Plus it's 50% off after 9:30pm!

We had it to go because we were still going catch the MRT home.

 

ღ Strawberry Shortcake $4.50 = $2.25

Very generous on the strawberry and it wasn't sour.

50% off applied to all their cakes so our friends ordered other things too.

Dark Chocolate something..

I only got to taste the Strawberry Shortcake

but for 50% off, I assume all the other cakes tasted oh-so-good as well.

Ippudo, Orchard Road (Singapore)

Darling, me and some friends went to Singapore on December 4 - 8, 2013.

And one of our food agendas is Ippudo.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

So we dined here on our first night.

It was a long queue.

But we waited it out.

Our orders.

Ippudo Chashu Tsukene $10

Juicy minced pork patty served with fried noodle bits

on a hot plate, topped with poached egg.

Spicy Shrimp Mayo P13

Lightly battered deep-fried succulent prawns

served with spicy mayonnaise dip.

Spicy Miso Tonkotsu P18

Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth 

with added spicy miso paste and spicy fragrant oil.

Darling and I shared this.

Akamaru Chashu $20

Look at those noodles, not too thick. Thumbs up!!!

And the chashu.. Mmmm..

We also added:

Tamago $3

Makes the broth a bit thicker and yummier!


ღ I so loved our food here. I liked the ramen Darling and I ordered,
but the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu lasted in my mind as well.
