CRU Steakhouse, Marriott Hotel Pasay Ω

Family tried out CRU on June 23, 2013.



Complimentary bread:

L-R: Parmesan, Spinach and Tomato in 1.

Served with herb butter and goat cheese.


For the main course:
Baked Oyster Rockerfeller & Kataifi Wrapped Jumbo Prawns P1600


Those really are jumbo prawns.


Diya had this.
Certified US Angus 250g P2200


It came with this knife.
Of course you can't take it home.


And 2 sides,
Potato Onion Gratin and Black Truffle Risotto


Mumsy and Ahya were seated beside our table 
but the tables were so big so they seemed too far away.
Salmon Tartar P650
Lemon mustard dresing, toasted crostini, extra virgin olive oil


Ahya had this.
Surf and Turf P2200
US prime beef tenderloin with jumbo asian tiger prawns,
portobello mushrooms, whipped potato, red wine jus.


Before you get a heart attack from the prices of the food, 
everything was 50% off as long as you have a Marriott card.
Ok, so maybe a mini heart attack.


Because it was priced so high, our expectation were also so high.
Sigh, if only this was priced accordingly.


Taste lies in the mouth of the beholder.

Disclaimer: I don't think that this establishment serves bad food, 
their dishes just did not make my tail wiggle.
